Principal Netcracker Production Support Engineer | Freelance | Long-term | EU-based
I’m looking for a Principal-level Netcracker specialist for a long-term freelance engagement with a telecoms client. You’ll own production support for their Netcracker OSS/BSS platform: keeping it stable, lowering MTTR and making sure SLAs are met.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading P1/P2 incidents end to end and owning root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Running daily health checks and monitoring key technical and functional flows against KPIs and SLAs
- Running production CI/CD deployments and keeping non-prod in sync with prod
- Tuning performance and applying scaling and auto-scaling rules
- Working within the change and release process, including pre- and post-change validation
- Owning backup and restore, retention and the BCP
What you’ll bring:
- Strong hands-on Netcracker OSS/BSS experience in production or operations
- ITIL background covering incident, problem, change and service requests
- Experience in a telecom operator environment, working to SLAs and KPIs
