We're looking for an experienced AEM Architect to lead the architecture of a large-scale digital experience platform for a major retail client. It's a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the technical direction, guide the delivery team and make sure the platform scales.

- Contract: ASAP start, initially until the end of December 2026
- Location: fully remote. Candidates must be based in Germany, Poland, Romania, Lithuania or Spain
- Workload: full time
- Rate: competitive day rate, depending on location
- Engagement: via your own limited company.
- Leading the architecture and delivery of Adobe Experience Manager implementations and platform modernisation
- Defining architecture standards, integration patterns and best practice across the Adobe Experience Cloud
- Working with business and technical stakeholders to turn commercial goals into a scalable, secure platform
- Running architecture reviews and mentoring engineers
- Proven experience as an AEM Architect or Technical Lead on enterprise-scale implementations
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices background
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Hands-on with CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes
- A solid grasp of enterprise architecture and system integration
- Adobe certification (AEM Architect or Developer)
- Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign or Commerce
- Retail or e-commerce experience
- Experience leading large digital transformation programmes
