Senior Databricks Engineer | Remote-first (Switzerland/EU)
Ex-Palantir engineers. New Databricks practice. First hires get real ownership.
We're hiring for a boutique data & AI consultancy, who are scaling into Databricks-led client delivery. New projects, new practice, and they need a Senior Engineer to lead it from the ground up.
You'll:
  • Own end-to-end Databricks delivery - ingestion through to decision tools
  • Work directly with CxOs and client stakeholders, not through layers of PM
  • Lead engineering teams on high-visibility projects
  • Help shape the practice itself - culture, delivery model, direction
You bring:
  • Strong Python/Spark/SQL background
  • End-to-end Databricks experience: Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow
  • Proven team leadership in client-facing environments
  • A consulting mindset - you speak business and tech fluently
  • Founder energy - proactive, independent, no hand-holding needed
Broad exposure > years. Two years across varied use cases beats five doing pipelines at one shop.
Remote-first. Occasional Switzerland gatherings and client-site travel.
