The Role
Our client is seeking a commercially minded Solutions Engineer to act as the key technical advisor throughout the partner lifecycle — from early-stage discovery and solution design through to onboarding and long-term technical collaboration.
This is a highly cross-functional position combining elements of technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, solution design, and stakeholder management. The role requires someone who can translate complex technical and operational requirements into practical, scalable solutions while working closely with internal product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
You will play a central role in helping prospective partners understand how the platform can support their business needs, ensuring solutions are technically feasible, operationally scalable, and aligned with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for prospective enterprise partners during pre-sales discussions and onboarding activities.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client requirements, workflows, and integration needs.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical solution approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to validate feasibility and support delivery planning.
  • Support commercial and go-to-market teams by presenting technical capabilities and helping build partner confidence in the platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders including engineering leads, architects, and senior technology teams.
  • Provide guidance on API integrations, implementation best practices, troubleshooting, and platform functionality.
  • Support partners throughout the onboarding and integration lifecycle to ensure successful implementation.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, solution proposals, diagrams, and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Coordinate internally to support the rollout of new platform features and partner-facing technical updates.
  • Help improve scalable support processes and cross-functional collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
  • Stay informed on relevant industry trends, technologies, and developments within regulated digital environments.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
  • Previous experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or another customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, software architecture principles, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience working within complex or regulated technology environments.
  • Ability to simplify technical complexity and communicate practical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients through onboarding, integrations, or technical implementation processes.
  • Fluent English communication skills; German language skills are highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
Preferred
  • Exposure to fintech, financial services, SaaS platforms, or regulated digital products.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise RFPs, RFIs, or technical proposal documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and scalable platform ecosystems.
  • Experience working within startup or high-growth technology businesses.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior technical stakeholders and leadership teams.
