Senior Business Analyst - API, Data & Analytics
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Contract: 12-month contract, with a view to extend
Rate: Up to €400 per day
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of API-driven applications, data capture and analytics to join a leading financial services environment in Dublin.
This role would suit someone who can bridge the gap between business and technology, translating business needs into clear product requirements while understanding how data, applications and integrations work together across complex enterprise environments.
Duties:
Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into clear product and system requirements.
Work with API-driven backend applications and system integrations.
Analyse and map end-to-end data and application flows, including upstream and downstream systems, integrations and dependencies.
Analyse business processes and translate requirements across interconnected systems.
Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand how data is captured, processed and used.
Support analytical tagging and data capture strategies.
Document requirements, processes, system flows and dependencies.
Help identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and data-driven solutions.
Requirements:
Solid experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of API-based solutions and system integrations.
Experience with analytics tagging frameworks and data capture strategies.
Ability to translate business use cases into clear, actionable product requirements.
Strong understanding of end-to-end system architecture, including upstream and downstream integrations and dependencies.
Experience mapping business requirements across interconnected systems and platforms.
Strong understanding of data and application flows within enterprise environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Financial services experience is preferred.
