The opportunity
Defence sales do not work like commercial SaaS. Tenders and programmes of record are published, and behind each one sits a dense, opaque network of stakeholders across multiple departments. Your job is to work out who genuinely decides, find a way to reach them, and put Omnisent in front of them in person — then carry that relationship through demonstration, technical evaluation and negotiation to a signed contract.
What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle: identify and generate opportunities, build the route in, and drive through to close.
- Map and navigate the stakeholder networks behind German government tenders and programmes of record, and identify the real decision makers within them.
- Secure and run in-person meetings with those decision makers — this is a face-to-face, on-the-road role, not a desk role.
- Coordinate technical demonstrations and evaluation sessions with our engineering team and manage the customer through that process.
- Lead commercial negotiations through to contract, working closely with the CEO.
- Represent Omnisent credibly in a sector where credibility is everything.
- Feed market intelligence back into product and strategy as we expand into the Gulf region and the United States.
What we are looking for
Essential
- Experience in defence sales, with a demonstrable record of navigating government or military procurement.
- The ability to run a complex, multi-stakeholder sales process independently, from first contact to signature.
- German at native level.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 75–80% of the time, and to sustain a high-intensity operating rhythm: this is an early-stage defence company, and the working pattern is roughly twelve hours a day, five days a week.
- Comfort with the defence sector and a considered view of what our technology is for.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Munich/Berlin.
