The opportunity We’re looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Cambridge.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems across the stack and wants to work with C#, Kubernetes, microservices, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
The role You’ll be working on a platform built around a large microservices architecture, helping make industrial data accessible through modern applications and emerging AI capabilities.
You’ll be involved in:
- Designing and developing C#/.NET microservices
- Building scalable, distributed applications
- Working with Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Authentication and authorisation
- API design and integration
- Contributing to architectural and technical decisions
- Working across international engineering teams
- Using AI/LLM tools such as Codex and Claude within your development workflow
- 5+ years' software engineering experience
- Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET
- Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies
- Exposure to IaC, automation and modern DevOps practices
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation
- Strong API and application development experience
- Someone who has worked across a broad technology stack rather than being highly siloed
- Comfortable actively incorporating AI tools into your development workflow
