Location: Remote first, with face-time expectation and some travel to sites
We're supporting the search for a Principal Programme Manager on behalf of a client who is building hyperscale AI infrastructure. Vertically integrated across land, power, compute, and software, with sites across Europe and North America, a multi-gigawatt power pipeline, and status as an NVIDIA Cloud Partner, this business serves sovereign AI factories, a global AI cloud, and hyperscalers at giga-scale. They're standing up a dedicated PMO — and this hire will be the founding member for the PMO function. You'll run live cluster deployments from day one while building the standards, reporting, and team that scale delivery across the whole portfolio.
The role will own:
- The master schedule linking data centre, hardware, and software builds
- Delivery from order through handover to operations
- Weekly reporting and a live RAID log for leadership
- Coordination across OEMs, data centre operators, and other partners
- The PMO itself — standards, tooling, and team as it scales
What we're looking for:
- A strong track record delivering large, multi-vendor infrastructure or data centre programmes
- Clear, plain reporting and strong prioritization (order of operations before dates)
- PMO-building experience, or the readiness for it
