We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to work on the delivery of strategic initiatives. You will support a team within an emerging equity compensation services division of our client. You will be accountable in helping the team deliver on their top priority goals and objectives. Key Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
- 10+ years of Java EE development on high volume enterprise systems
- Proven expertise developing JAVA middle tier rest services and with Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
- Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries
- Understanding of Relational Databases
- Proven understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts like CI/CD pipelines in an AKS Azure environment
- Demonstrated experience of leading engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Strong sense of ownership for the quality of solution delivery and execution
- Actively participates in all phases of Development Life Cycle /Agile Project including design, development, and testing.
- Understands Business Objectives in the context of the team’s work
- Contributes to architecture and technical designs and ensure designs are aligned with architectural standards
- Communicates project status, identify issues/ risks proactively, and escalate effectively.
- Follows Fidelity standard processes and methodologies for developing high-quality secure code
- Analysing current processes and propose recommendations for process improvements
