The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and compliance functions to understand business needs, define requirements, and translate complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
This is a highly collaborative role, requiring someone who can operate comfortably across both business and technical environments while balancing customer, operational, regulatory, and commercial considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis and discovery activities across key product and business initiatives.
Gather, analyse, document, manage, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions and future-state processes.
Develop business impact assessments, process documentation, and solution requirements.
Work closely with business, operations, technology, and compliance stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
Support solution design, testing, business acceptance, implementation readiness, and post-deployment activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Support change initiatives and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Act as a key link between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, product analysis, process improvement, and solution delivery, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
Key requirements:
Proven experience gathering, documenting, managing, and validating complex business and functional requirements.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience analysing business processes and supporting transformation or solution implementation.
Strong understanding of the business analysis lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and post-delivery support.
Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Strong ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within regulated environments, where compliance and risk considerations form part of solution design, would be advantageous.
