He joins Trust in SODA with nearly 4 years of prior recruitment experience, having placed both freelance and permanent IT professionals within the UK and Belgium. Jason was previously working across the French speaking regions of Belgium focusing mostly on Business & IT Analysts.

More about myself: I used to be an actor and graduated from drama school here in the UK. I'm part French, and have lived in France and Canada. I've also coded a fully functioning version of the classic arcade game 'Asteroids' using Python!

Senior Business Systems Analyst | Zurich | Hybrid (Permanent)Trust in SODA is partnering with an established financial-services firm in Zurich to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst.This position sits between business and technology, with responsibility for supporting critical applications, understanding business requirements and delivering effective system and process improvements.You’ll work with stakeholders across technology, operations and corporate functions while coordinating with external vendors and service providers.Your responsibilities will include:Managing and improving business-critical applicationsGathering, analysing and documenting business requirementsTranslating requirements into practical technology solutionsInvestigating system issues and coordinating their resolutionManaging incidents, defects and stakeholder communicationsCoordinating testing, UAT, releases and application upgradesWorking with external technology providersSupporting users with system-related queries and guidanceMaintaining procedures, documentation and control recordsContributing to audit, resilience and risk-management activitiesWhat we’re looking for:Experience in business analysis, application management or production supportA background within financial services or another regulated environmentExperience supporting complex and integrated business applicationsKnowledge of testing, UAT, release and change processesFamiliarity with ITIL and software delivery lifecyclesExposure to SQL and relational database conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesConfident stakeholder and vendor-management skillsThe ability to work independently and take ownershipFluent English; German would be advantageous but is not essentialThis is an opportunity to take on broad application responsibility, contribute to meaningful technology change and develop towards greater leadership responsibility.Applicants must already hold the right to work in Switzerland.Interested?
