Shaking up what recruitment can be

Corporate social responsibility doesn’t have to be flat.  As part of our commitment to cutting edge, empowering practice, we sponsor and support organisations and conference events which focus on enabling a culture of diversity, ethics and innovation in the digital space in which we recruit.  Our support reflects our commitment to bringing new energy to our recruitment practices.

SODA Social is our pioneering, innovative networking event and on-line platform, created to bring together digital experts for networking and knowledge-sharing. It allows us – and you – to engage with us and our digital world in a relaxed, informative and fun way.

SODA Social events discuss and debate hot topics, market trends, opportunities and threats within our market with panellists and hosts who are thought-leaders from global companies, including Facebook, Expedia and Moonpig. Over-subscribed and cutting-edge, the events are aimed at digital professionals across the design, technology and marketing sectors, enabling our community, candidates and clients alike, and our own consultants gain unique insights into the latest market trends and meet like-minded individuals.

We created Ex-Military Careers to help former members of the armed forces bridge the gap from the military to civvy street via employment and proven training courses. Profits raised from Ex-Military Careers and SODA are given to the Ex-Military Foundation which provides CV tips, advice and a mentoring scheme, of which every qualified employee of SODA is a mentor. The Ex-Military Foundation is a registered charity founded by SODA and partners with Walking with the Wounded, Peter Jones Foundation and the Royal British Legion to sign post welfare and rehabilitation in addition to providing it's own assistance with employment and training courses.

We established Women in DevOps in 2017 specifically to address the issue of gender imbalance in our market.  It is a pioneering not-for-profit with a strong on-line presence and event meet-ups devoted to empowering diversity and inclusion and celebrating the achievement of women in digital technology.  We believe passionately that a balanced and diverse workforce drives innovation.

As we scale, we are reaching out to business’ such as yourselves who have an interest in diversity, to help support us. We are currently working with the likes of Facebook, Moonpig and Google.

Glitch is a small but ambitious not-for-profit organisation that exists to end online abuse. We want to see an increase in digital citizenship across all online users. We strive to instil the belief that our online community is as real as our offline one and that we should all be working to make it a better place. Fix the glitch now for a safer web tomorrow.

To date, Glitch has presented at the 38th United Nations Human Rights Council, delivered our Digital Citizenship Citizenship workshop to 2,000 young people across the UK and Europe and over 30 individuals in public life received our bespoke Digital Resilience Training. Glitch’s work was praised in UK Parliament last year and is featured in Amnesty International’s Write for Rights Campaign 2018.
