We're looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our London office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace for employees. This role is responsible for facilities management, workplace services, vendor performance, compliance, real estate coordination, and delivering workplace improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily facilities operations, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience.
- Oversee planned maintenance and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Manage service providers including cleaning, security, catering, reception, and other workplace services, ensuring strong SLA and KPI performance.
- Lead vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Coordinate office moves, space planning, workplace events, and hospitality services.
- Act as the primary contact for landlords, overseeing building services, lease-related matters, and service charge governance.
- Deliver office fit-outs, relocations, and workplace improvement projects.
- Monitor and report on KPIs including operational performance, customer satisfaction, space utilisation, and energy efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related discipline (Engineering preferred).
- Proven Facilities Management experience, ideally within a corporate or pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience managing workplace services, catering or canteen operations, and office events.
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach with a focus on delivering an outstanding workplace experience.
