THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelors or Masters’ degree in a Technology related field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
- Proven experience in product management and agile development methodologies, designing, developing and maintaining dynamic products and solutions
- Strong background in stakeholder management
- Partners across Engineering, Architecture, and business to align on strategic decisions, solution development and work priorities, ensuring best-in-class engineering and analytics are at the core of our product solutions.
- Experience working with both mainframe, Cloud and distributed technologies a plus
- Take an open-minded approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered
- Grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise requirements with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these
- A strong focus on tactical execution and continuing progress through impediment identification, communication and removal
- Comfortable leading, influencing, and motivating team members without formal authority
- Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills with business and technology partners and leaders at various levels
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration experience by establishing and maintaining unquestioning relationships across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes
- You are intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coaching
- Financial services experience preferred
- Jira and Jira Align experience preferred
Scope of Work:
- This position is effectively a Product Owner / Product Manager position. Managing the product roadmap, forecasting, Influencing execution, and driving product success.
- Experience in iterative SDLC is important - team is in sprint rhythm. Tooling - Jira, Jira Align, Confluence
- Stakeholder management - collaboration amongst domain, engineering, Chapter and Product Areas is vital for success. Strong communications skill and confidence are key.
