About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst (Data) to join our team in Galway and play a key role in developing performance measurement and analytics software for Custom Separately Managed Accounts (CSMA). This is a highly strategic initiative within the Wealth Management Technology space. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, business partners, and sister squads, contributing to the design, analysis, and delivery of high-quality data-driven solutions in a dynamic, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit and document requirements by working closely with business stakeholders.
- Write detailed user stories and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to design and refine data architecture and ETL frameworks.
- Contribute to system and data modelling using best practices.
- Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming using JIRA and JIRA Align.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with data architecture, ETL frameworks, and data modelling best practices.
- Advanced SQL skills, ideally with Oracle or Snowflake.
- Strong familiarity with JIRA and Scrum Board management.
- Experience writing user stories and conducting requirements elicitation.
- Background in agile development environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, EMR) is a plus.
- Financial services experience is advantageous but not required.
