Location: Portsmouth (2 days onsite)
Contract: 12 months (start 1 May 2026)
Rate: £570/day Outside IR 35
Clearance: SC (or higher) MUST BE ACTIVE
As a Solution Architect, you’ll design secure, scalable systems and act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring strong architectural governance across the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain solution architectures aligned to strategic goals
- Challenge requirements and guide technical direction
- Manage architectural risk and ensure GDS compliance
- Collaborate within Agile teams and communicate with stakeholders
- Produce clear, high-quality documentation
Essential Skills
- Experience in complex solution design
- Kubernetes / containerisation
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Modern security principles (Zero Trust, Secure by Design)
- GDS lifecycle and Digital Service Assessment knowledge
- Experience with Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, or similar
