The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join an agile squad, where you will play a key role in embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll shape and contribute to the automation strategy, implement robust test solutions across UI and API layers, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence best practices across the squad.
Expertise Required
- 6 years’ experience in testing and test automation.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong background in front-end automation with Playwright (1 years) or Selenium.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
- API testing expertise using Karate, REST-assured, or Postman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Jira, Xray, or similar test management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test solutions for UI and API testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure testability of features.
- Lead test planning and execution for complex features and integrations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration, test execution, and maintenance of automation suites.
- Continuously improve testing practices, frameworks, and tooling.
