As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you’ll work at the intersection of backend, cloud, and front-end systems, helping teams deliver faster, safer, and smarter. You’ll be hands-on with modern testing frameworks like Cypress and Playwright (TypeScript) and Karate and Selenium (Java). While the organisation is migrating toward a full TypeScript stack, both skill sets are valuable — but if you’re stronger in TypeScript, even better!
What You’ll Do
- Lead QA automation efforts across multiple systems and services.
- Design, build, and execute functional and regression test suites that keep quality at the forefront.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and analysts to define acceptance criteria and improve release readiness.
- Contribute to development of minor features in UI or Mid-Tier components.
- Champion Agile, CI/CD, and automation-first delivery practices.
What You Bring
- 5 years in software quality engineering or test automation.
- Experience with frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Java (TypeScript preferred).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Jenkins, AWS, and modern delivery pipelines.
- A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and passion for clean, efficient automation.
