As part of a brand new project, we are building out a software engineering team in Ireland for a US scale-up in the software security space. We've been working with them for the past few months and have moved on to the final couple of hires to complete the new department.
These final 2 hires will be more full-stack profiles still focusing on Golang for the backend but now looking for strong React experience on the front end. You don't have to have previously worked with Go, just be willing to learn and pick it up in the role.
There's a lot of really interesting stuff to get your teeth into in this role, initially with the team focusing on the maintenance of several data pipelines as well as a new billing and metering implementation. The plan will be eventually to migrate those data pipelines with the team then available to tackle new key engineering tasks and projects.
Key tech requirements:
- React experience is essential
- Hands-on experience with Golang would be a big plus, but if you've worked with Python or Java on the backend and are happy to learn go, that's absolutely fine
- Typescript is also a plus
- Experience working in an AWS environment is preferred but GCP and Azure backgrounds can also be considered
- Good Database experience with the likes of SQL, Graph QL and No SQL technologies.
- A big bonus would be having already spent time in a fast/hyper growth tech company/Start-Up
