Rate: €600 - €750 per day
Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join the Infrastructure & Operations division on a long-term contract. The role supports multiple strategic technical projects across servers, networks, cloud, workplace, mainframe, and security domains. You will work closely with the IT leadership team and act as a trusted delivery partner in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage several technical infrastructure/operations projects simultaneously.
- Lead end-to-end delivery: planning, governance, stakeholder management, risk/issue management.
- Work with technical teams across servers, networks, firewalls, cloud, digital workplace, mainframe, and databases.
- Ensure alignment with project governance standards (primarily waterfall with some adapted agile practices).
- Contribute to portfolio reporting and coordinate with PMO when required.
- Act as a stable and trusted delivery resource within the team during a period of high workload.
- 7 years’ experience in technical IT project management, ideally within large corporate environments. Preferably Banking, Insurance or Pharma experience.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure domains:
- Servers, networks, firewalls
- Cloud platforms
- Digital workplace & end-user computing
- Mainframe (Microfocus experience is a very strong plus)
- Experience in regulated sectors (insurance, banking, pharma).
- Strong soft skills: assertive, trustworthy, relationship-builder, able to manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with PM methodologies (Prince2, waterfall, agile).
- Requirement is English [French or Dutch]
- Preferred exp. sectors: insurance, banking, pharma - due to regulatory and legal requirements.
