We’re partnering with a Global Google Cloud Premier Partner on a senior GCP architect hire to support two critical Banking customers. You'll be part of a well-established, fully remote team based in Germany, where you'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions. Working cross-functionally, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to develop robust, scalable, and secure architectures that meet high technical and business standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Implementation: Design secure, scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Infrastructure Focus: Manage Compute Engine, GKE, and automate deployments using Terraform.
  • Network Design: Architect and maintain complex VPCs, hybrid connectivity (VPN/Interconnect), DNS, Load Balancing, and implement security controls (Cloud Armor, Security Command Center).
  • Internal Consulting: Act as a GCP advisor, evaluating new services and supporting cloud strategy.
  • GenAI Initiatives: Identify use cases and support pilot projects using Vertex AI, LLMs, or similar tools.
Your Profile
  • Several years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, primarily with GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, Terraform, and cloud networking.
  • Able to design, present, and defend complex architectures independently.
  • Fluent in German (C1/C2); good English skills.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is strongly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in Generative AI demonstrated through personal projects or ongoing learning (e.g., Vertex AI, LangChain, Gemini, GitHub activity).
