Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to design and implement intelligent technical solutions.
- Contribute to sound engineering practices through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Build and maintain production software systems, primarily focusing on the backend.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that occasionally impact customers.
- Be adaptable, responding quickly to changing business demands, and participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems.
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience building and maintaining production software systems.
- TypeScript - Extensive experience with TypeScript (with Node/Express)
- Python
- Extensive production experience working with SQL databases.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment (e.g., a startup or similar setting).
- A strong focus on product and customer problems.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, build pipelines, and CI/CD.
