SAP EWM Consultant (Manufacturing & Logistics Support)

Location: Austria (Hybrid)
Duration:  12 Months

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support a strategic logistics and manufacturing initiative. The successful candidate will provide operational support and enhancement services across SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and manufacturing processes, supporting live sites with a primary focus on Austria, including Schaftenau.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve incoming support tickets, defects, and change requests through designated support tools.
  • Assess and validate business requirements in collaboration with process owners.
  • Analyse and design solutions in partnership with key stakeholders, including:
    • Local Business Teams
    • Core Project Teams
    • Adoption Teams
    • Technical Development Teams
    • Process Owners
    • Application Management Support Teams
  • Develop and implement approved change requests.
  • Present proposed changes at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with design, adoption, and business-as-usual (BAU) teams, providing support where required.
  • Contribute to smooth service transition activities and ongoing operational excellence.

Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise
  • Strong experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and warehouse operations.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse systems and operational processes within Austrian sites.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP ecosystems and connected satellite systems, particularly:
    • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
    • Local Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and logistics environments in regulated industries.

Business Process Knowledge
  • Comprehensive understanding of:
    • Drug Substance (DS) operations
    • Drug Product (DP) operations
  • Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing processes across supported sites, particularly in Austria and Schaftenau.

Additional Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the current SAP project landscape and associated business processes.
  • Previous involvement in SAP implementation, support, or transition projects.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
