🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ultra-low latency components using Rust 🦀
- Build robust, asynchronous systems for streaming market data and event handling
- Develop integration's with trading venues, APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka
- Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term platform evolution
- Proven experience in Rust or C , ideally in high-performance, time-critical systems
- Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and systems programming
- Practical experience with async Rust (tokio, async-std) and the Rust tool chain (Cargo, Clippy, Rustfmt)
- Confident with debugging, profiling, and optimising low-latency code
- Exposure to crypto, trading, or fintech environments is a bonus — but not a requirement
- Previous work in prop trading, quant firms, or market-making is a strong advantage
- Clear communicator who values practical solutions over perfection
- Passionate about software beyond work — GitHub projects, coding competitions, or just hacking for fun
