With a lean, pragmatic structure and deep technical roots, this team builds ultra-efficient, real-time trading systems that support high-throughput strategies in global derivatives markets.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, engineering-led culture where speed, precision, and autonomy are highly valued where you will be reporting directly into the Head of IT.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ultra-low latency components using Rust 🦀
  • Build robust, asynchronous systems for streaming market data and event handling
  • Develop integration's with trading venues, APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term platform evolution
🧠 Technical Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Rust or C , ideally in high-performance, time-critical systems
  • Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and systems programming
  • Practical experience with async Rust (tokio, async-std) and the Rust tool chain (Cargo, Clippy, Rustfmt)
  • Confident with debugging, profiling, and optimising low-latency code
  • Exposure to crypto, trading, or fintech environments is a bonus — but not a requirement
