About the Role We’re looking for a seasoned OpenShift Architect to lead the design, build, and evolution of enterprise-scale OpenShift environments. This is a hands-on architecture role where you’ll shape the future of containerized workloads, drive automation, and enable continuous innovation across a complex hybrid infrastructure. If you thrive in high-performance environments, enjoy solving architectural challenges, and want to make a real impact on mission-critical systems — this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and Design: Define scalable, secure, and resilient OpenShift architectures — from cluster topology to networking and storage.
- Migrate and Modernize: Lead seamless migrations of enterprise workloads to OpenShift with minimal downtime.
- Integrate and Automate: Connect OpenShift with VMware (vSphere, NSX), Pure Storage, and CI/CD toolchains to deliver a cohesive DevOps ecosystem.
- Secure the Platform: Enforce RBAC, network policies, and compliance standards across environments.
- Lead and Enable: Guide engineering and operations teams on best practices, optimization, and platform evolution.
- Continuously Improve: Enhance platform reliability, performance, and automation through continuous iteration.
What You’ll Bring
- Deep OpenShift & Kubernetes expertise – architecture, deployment, and scaling in complex environments.
- Containerization mastery – strong hands-on with Docker and container lifecycle management.
- VMware know-how – vSphere, vCenter, and NSX integration experience.
- Networking & Storage fluency – ingress, load balancing, DNS, persistent volumes, and dynamic provisioning.
- Automation & DevOps mindset – proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Multi-cloud exposure – AWS, Azure, or other IaaS platforms.
- Solid Linux foundations – expert-level administration and troubleshooting.
