What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the charge in designing and implementing scalable, customer-facing API endpoints that interact seamlessly with both our system and client systems
- Solve complex problems related to cloud infrastructure and database usage, ensuring high performance under load
- Drive architectural standards for the team (don’t worry—you're not alone! You’ll have a seasoned mentor to guide you in this space)
- Take over legacy code and bring it into the future—optimizing the old while building the new
- Help scale the engineering team as we grow from a lean startup to a big player in generative AI
- Experience with large-scale systems that handle thousands (if not more!) of active users
- Expertise in concurrency, latency, and multi-threading—you know how to build systems that work under pressure
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and managing APIs for real-world client systems
- Leadership experience or the drive to step into a leadership role—if you’ve led a small team before, that’s a plus
- A passion for innovation and a drive to stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving industry
- Experience working in data streaming or data pipelining
- Background in a company like Streamyard (or similar fast-moving tech startups)
- Having an eye for architecture, but also rolling up your sleeves and diving into the code
