At Trust in SODA, part of the Trinnovo Group, we’re supporting a leading financial services technology provider in Germany with their next wave of digital transformation. They’re looking for a Software Architect to take ownership of Java-based backend systems and guide high-impact client projects.
Your Role:
- Design, develop, and maintain modular backend architectures
- Build scalable REST APIs and event-driven interfaces.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor a development team.
- Collaborate with consultants, analysts, and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security in all deliverables.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh insights into the technology landscape.
- Several years’ hands-on experience in architecture & modular system design.
- Strong Java programming expertise with Apache Kafka; Docker/Kubernetes preferred.
- Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Previous exposure to financial services projects.
- Agile mindset (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent German
- Proven experience leading technical teams.
