We’re looking for a experienced Game UI Developer to join our clients highly talented development team. Working as a team you will be responsible for building the core features and components used to implement UI designs, alongside extending the UI toolchain to support the current and future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing high-fidelity, web-based UI solutions for current and future projects
- Extending and maintaining our UI toolchain to support evolving project needs.
- Working collaboratively across disciplines to build robust, performing UI systems.
- Championing quality engineering through code reviews, automated testing, and pair programming.
- Minimising technical debt by writing clean, maintainable code and proactively identifying potential issues.
- Engaging in continuous improvement and sharing knowledge with your teammates.
- Strong experience of JavaScript development.
- Experience with TypeScript and working in MVC or MVVM architectures.
- Strong understanding of CSS and preprocessors (e.g., PostCSS).
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and considerations for multilingual UI.
- An eye for rendering performance and experience with profiling tools.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine (or similar).
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or SolidJS.
- Solid grasp of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
