Software Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Duration: Initial 12-month contract
Offering up to €320 per day
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team developing innovative applications for the financial services industry. You'll help deliver high-value investment solutions while working with modern technologies in a cloud-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
- Build RESTful APIs and work with Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.
- Help ensure applications are secure, resilient, and highly available.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS (EKS).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber or Selenium.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.
- Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly AWS.
- Experience using AI engineering tools to support software development.
