We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing technology team in Galway. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, Developers, QA, and Architects to design, build, test, and deliver features that power modern digital experiences. What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- 5 years of design and development experience.
- Proficiency in Angular, Java Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment automation.
- REST API test automation experience in Java.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and, ideally, financial services.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and maintainable software solutions in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Influence engineering practices through code reviews, design reviews, and environment strategy.
- Partner with product owners, architects, and technical leads to shape platform enhancements.
- Build strong business domain knowledge and represent technology in discussions with stakeholders.
- Develop as an individual contributor while also supporting team success.
- Provide 3rd-level production support when required.
