Have another new role as our Galways based multinational client continue their expansion. This is a really exciting one for someone looking to take the next step towards leadership. It's a leadership role but would still require some hands-on development work mainly in Java (Spring) and Angular.
Despite being hands-on, you will be the person responsible for defining the technical strategy and vision of the team as well as leading and mentoring multiple engineers across different internal teams. You'll work on strategic projects spanning across multiple business units and be the ultimate authority on technical decision making.
Desired Tech Leadership Skills:
- 8 years experience in full stack software engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java (Spring) and Angular
- Experience designing, building, and supporting high transaction applications
- Strong track record of leading and mentoring other engineers both junior and senior
- Experience leading teams in an Agile environment
- Previous experience in the financial services sector would be a big plus
