We’re looking for a Data Privacy Manager who’s ready to play a key role in embedding privacy across our operations. In this role, you’ll support scalable privacy governance, contribute to strategic compliance initiatives, and work cross-functionally with product, security, legal, and marketing teams.
Role: Data Privacy Manager
Location: Hamburg 1x per month
Salary: €80k
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and evolve internal privacy records and documentation (e.g. RoPA, DPIAs, TIAs)
- Support privacy policies, training, and internal guidance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement privacy-by-design
- Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance audits and data rights processes
- Drive tooling and workflows to enable automation and audit readiness
What You Bring
- 5 years in privacy, compliance, or legal ops (preferably in tech or regulated sectors)
- Strong grasp of GDPR, privacy governance, and emerging regulation (AI Act, DSA)
- Ability to translate legal requirements into practical processes
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Legal, Security, Product, etc.)
- Excellent English communication; privacy certifications and German are a plus
