The role requires German language skills, and candidates to be a commutable distance from Basel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to assess their data needs and define future-state architectures.
- Design end-to-end data architectures including data ingestion, storage, processing, and access layers.
- Lead the development of data modeling standards and oversee data model implementations.
- Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- Provide architectural guidance on data warehousing, data lakes, real-time streaming, and cloud-native solutions.
- Help support bid work and delivery for multiple key projects for the business within Banking and Insurance
Desirable Requirements:
- Strong background in navigating complex Data Architectures
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with Databricks
- Strong Data Modelling experience
- Experience with AI platforms would be a big plus for this role
The role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement and is a 6 month contract.
