Rate: $378 - $530 per day
Role Description
Data Migration expert is responsible for overall end to end execution of his/her Data migration area/objects. He is responsible to work with local business and functional teams. He acts a bridge between Global Data Migration Expert and DM Execution business teams to make sure local requirements are captured in conversion workbooks.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Role applicable for large ERP programs. Responsibilities may also be assumed by GDMEs for Responsible to verify the data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects. certain projects.
- DMW load file preparation and initial verification
- Acts as deployment wave focal point for his/her data objects in scope for deployment project
- DVT script execution migration/local data migration scope.
- Interacts with Business Data Owners (BDOS-Global, Regional or Local), deployment Functional Experts, ETL team members, legacy teams, etc.)
- Responsible to drive migration activities for deployment project
- Defect and Hypercare incident resolution coordination for object(s) under responsibility.
- Design defects resolution or escalation to GDMES.
- Experience working with teams globally.
- Fluent English (additional languages preferred)
- Functional expertise/knowledge and strong leadership
- Strategic and hands on way of working (running meetings, thrive in an international, matrix-based organization tracking progress, managing issues)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, good stakeholder management
- 10 years ERP project implementation background
- Deep experience on data migration execution in multi- country / multi-systems environment
- SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area, with hands on knowledge of SAP BODS Knowledge of GXP and CSV
