About the Project
We’re supporting a major Swiss banking client with an exciting long-term data migration project, moving their core systems from Oracle to Snowflake on Microsoft Azure.
This is a great opportunity for an Italian-speaking Data Engineer to play a key role in one of the region’s most strategic digital transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Data Engineer, you’ll:
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines for data migration (Oracle ➜ Snowflake).
- Implement Data Vault 2.0 data models and optimise data workflows.
- Work hands-on with SQL, Python, and automation scripts.
- Ensure high data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Collaborate across tech and business teams to deliver robust solutions.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Fluent in Italian and English
✅ 2–5 years’ experience in data engineering or business analysis roles
✅ Strong experience with Snowflake (Azure cloud environment)
✅ Solid background in Oracle and data migration
✅ Familiar with Data Vault 2.0, Collibra, and governance best practices
✅ Proficient in SQL and Python
✅ Experience working in Agile environments
🎓 Certifications like SnowPro or Azure Data Engineer are a bonus!
