Location: Knutsford / Northampton (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Contract: 3–6 Months
Rate: £400 – £470/day inside IR35
We’re looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver end-to-end solutions with a strong focus on AWS. You’ll provide technical leadership, guide development teams, and ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud solution design and architecture (AWS preferred).
- Provide hands-on technical direction in Java, backend, and microservices.
- Manage project scope, budgets, milestones, and risks.
- Oversee release strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
- Act as delivery lead and liaison between teams and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in AWS stack (Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API Gateway, CloudWatch, X-Ray).
- Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, AWS Kinesis).
- Knowledge of AWS data services (Glue, S3, Glacier, Data Pipeline).
- Solid background in REST APIs, design patterns, and SDLC/Agile.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
