The role requires English language skills, and candidates to be based in Eastern Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
- Build and optimise data lakes and data warehouses on Azure.
- Implement data ingestion from multiple sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).
- Ensure high data quality, security, and governance in line with client requirements.
- Collaborate with solution architects to design cloud-native data solutions.
- Support migration of on-premise data systems to Azure cloud environments.
- Work closely with analytics and BI teams to enable reporting and machine learning use cases.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft Azure ecosystem advancements and recommend best practices to clients.
Desirable Requirements:
- Strong background in Azure Data Engineering
- Experience with Azure-related tools is important (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Devops etc.)
- Fabric experience would be a plus but not required
- Experience working on fast-paced projects in a consulting environment would be a plus
- Experience working in financial services would be a plus
The role offers the flexibility of a remote work arrangement and is a 6 month contract with possibility of extension.
