The role You’ll act as the technical and functional bridge between business users and engineering teams, taking ownership of core banking applications and data. This is a hands-on, visible position with real responsibility from day one.
You’ll be the single point of contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders and play a key role in shaping how core banking systems evolve.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and maintaining core banking data (Olympic)
- Writing and analysing SQL queries to support business and technical needs
- Performing business analysis in close collaboration with internal experts
- Translating requirements into technical configurations and solutions
- Owning application management (control parameters, reporting, configuration)
- Supporting release management, including testing and coordination with developers
- Acting as SPOC for all applications owned by the Application Engineering team
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Banking IT, or similar
- 5 years’ experience in the banking sector
- Strong understanding of core banking systems (any platform)
- Hands-on experience with databases & SQL
- Experience with requirements engineering (IREB a plus)
- Fluent / professional German (essential)
- Good English communication skills
