Senior Systems Analyst - Hiring ASAP
Start date: ASAP 
Duration: 11 months
Location: 1 week in Galway office, 3 weeks working from home 
Rate: €350 - €400 per day 

Skillset
• The role will involve business requirements review, systems requirements and capability analysis, solution design, and working closely with business partners and the development team.
• 5 years’ experience in a system analyst role
• Experience working with cross-functional teams developing business and systems requirements, user interface design, data modelling, systems designs and systems interface specifications
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience with or knowledge of web technology or service-oriented architecture is a plus.


Responsibilities
• Lead and facilitate the process of gathering business requirements through interviewing or conducting group requirements session and generate detailed business requirements/stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, breaking down complex business problems by understanding the business needs, creating understanding of how digital solutions may meet those needs.
• Analyze and document current workflows, identify opportunities to meet project objectives, and make recommendations for future approaches.
• Develop user definitions, use cases and workflow diagrams to illustrate business problems.
• Actively participate in formal presentations to a variety of management levels.
• Positivity and strength in working within a high performing team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are key to communicating effectively with technology partners and understanding their requirements.
• Open collaboration with team members on shared items.
• You have excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle and are familiar with Agile best practices.
• Ability to adapt to unfamiliar circumstances and deliver high quality work.
