The role You’ll act as the technical and functional bridge between business users and engineering teams, taking ownership of core banking applications and data. This is a hands-on, visible position with real responsibility from day one. You’ll be the single point of contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders and play a key role in shaping how core banking systems evolve. What you’ll be doingManaging and maintaining core banking data (Olympic)Writing and analysing SQL queries to support business and technical needsPerforming business analysis in close collaboration with internal expertsTranslating requirements into technical configurations and solutionsOwning application management (control parameters, reporting, configuration)Supporting release management, including testing and coordination with developersActing as SPOC for all applications owned by the Application Engineering teamWhat we’re looking forDegree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Banking IT, or similar5 years’ experience in the banking sectorStrong understanding of core banking systems (any platform)Hands-on experience with databases & SQLExperience with requirements engineering (IREB a plus)Fluent / professional German (essential)Good English communication skillsA low-ego, collaborative mindset - team fit is criticalExperience with Olympic core banking (by Temenos) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
