Job description

Trust in Soda are currently partnered with a leading digital transformation company who are undertaking a large migration for a leading IT infrastructure business in Copenhagen

We are searching for a Test Manager to join the team immediately

Location: Copenhagen
Rate: 600 EUR/Day
Length: 12months

Description:
Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Planning test activities - both the formal contractual tests (afprøvning) and the internal tests.
  • Establish test plans and continue to improve the test processes
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for their part in official tests according to the requirements of the public contract
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Reporting of test results - external reporting in Danish
  • Manage defects
  • Coordination of releases with release manager
  • Participate in the Change Management process, representing test
  • Communicate closely with relevant stakeholders internally and externally - on Danish and English.


Qualifications
Your skills and aspirations:

  • Able to read, write and fluently speak Danish and English
  • Experienced and structured test manager with prior experience with large public projects
  • Handle sub-vendors for certain test types (i.e. usability test, accessibility test or "Fælles offentlig brugertest")
  • Solid understanding of testing and test management principles and methodologies, (e.g., ISTQB or TMAP)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with test management tools. Knowledge of the tool PractiTest is an advantage
  • Experience in working in an agile environment (e.g. SAFe)
  • Experience with risk-based testing and Product Risk Analysis (PRA) workshops
  • ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certified
  • Familiar with working in a political environment
  • Knowledge of strategy for automated test.


Key Responsibilities:
-Analyze users stories /requirements for validity and feasibility
-Test Planning and Management (As applicable)
-Writing, executing and monitoring manual/automated test suites
-Develop and automate tests for software validation
-Create logs to document testing phases and defects
-Help troubleshoot issues
-Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors
-Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
-Provide support and documentation
-execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) (as applicable)

Professional Qualification:
-Experience in QA methodology
-Possesses testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs) and a test mindset
-Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
-Hands-on experience of using web based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver)
-Experience on Functional Domain (Specify Domain: Primarily for Manual Testers)
-Experience using project tracking software considered a strong asset (ex: JIRA)
-Basic Database Knowledge of Database (e.g. SQL)
-Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Other Qualities:

-Fluent in English, both written and spoken
