My client a prestigious gaming organsiation working on first-class AAA games is currently looking to hire a Concept Artist responsible for developing captivating concept artwork to establish the desired tone, mood, and aesthetic, as outlined by the Art Director.

Responsibilities:

• Generate concepts for characters, creatures, weapons, and items, complete with detailed annotations for seamless transition into production-ready assets.
• Refine game assets through paint-overs, studies, and collaborative critiques to continually enhance personal skills.
• Provide innovative solutions to challenging design briefs, leveraging artistic expertise.

Skills:

• Experience in game development as a 2D Artist specialising in Game Art/Illustration.
• Proficiency in digital art creation tools like Photoshop, Painter, etc.
• Strong foundation in illustration, with a deep understanding of human/creature anatomy, color theory, shape and form, language, and silhouette.
• Exceptional eye for light, value, composition, color, staging, architecture, and detail in environmental design.
• Comfortable adapting to predefined art styles or exploring uncharted territories.
