Stefan Milz received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich. He has a strong history in professional software development and automotive. He joined Brainlab GmbH as Software Engineer in 2010 for medical image processing and radiation simulation. In 2014, he moved to Continental GmbH as Senior Software Developer for highly automated ADAS functions. In 2016, he joined Valeo as Team Lead in Driving Assistance Research, focusing on Machine Learning functions in Automated Driving. By now, he is Managing Director of Spleenlab.ai, a self-founded machine learning company focusing on safety-critical computer vision applications (UAV, Automated Driving, Air-Taxis) deploying SLAM, sensor-fusion, perception functions into the real world. Besides, he is also a research fellow at the TU-Ilmenau.
