A profitable, seed-stage start-up making a big waves within the generative AI and ML space is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to come in and lead the revamp of their core platform.

This role is a challenging one, but also super exciting - looking for an engineer that will not only be leading the rebuild, but also deciding on the best approach; What arch would be relevant..? What tools..?

📍Location: London - Shoreditch, Hybrid (3 days on site)

📌Salary: Up to £125,000

Responsibilities of a Staff Engineer:

• Develop products for real users
• Build scalable and reliable distributed systems
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects
• Mentor other developers
• Continuously learn new skills

Looking for from a Staff Engineer:

• 5+ years Back-End Engineering experience (happy to consider both Python or Go)
• Experience with (and passion for) great system design and architecture, API and back end services.
• Experience working with AWS/GCP/Azure
• Pragmatic and self-driven. Knows when to ask for help and when to push forward
