Scala Software Engineer

We have been retained exclusively by a rapidly scaling FinTech who are looking to add multiple talented mid-level Scala engineers to their team. This is a hugely exciting new project where they'll be hiring extensively in various areas between now and the end of 2023.

Our client provide software solutions to almost all of the 100 biggest companies in the world. Your work will be used by the likes of Apple, Etsy, Disney and many others. It's an environment where they will give you a lot of freedom to design your own solutions and support you to learn new things day to day. They would say that if you build it, you own it.

They are looking to hire confident and talented engineers strong in functional programming and test driven development. People who thrive off being given responsibility will do really well!

Desired Technical Experience:

• Scala (Akka, Play)
• Java background would be helpful but open to Python and other backgrounds as well
• Kafka
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Docker, Kubernetes
• TDD
• AWS Cloud platform knowledge
