Python Software Developer (Trading)

I'm partnered with a Trading Business engaging in Securities Financing Transactions as well as several derivative trading strategies is looking to add a new software engineer to their growing tech team.

You'd be joining an impressive team, working cross-functionally to achieve your objectives. It's a broad role giving you huge exposure & development across the fascinating world of financial markets. You'll collaborate daily with traders to to developer trading tools for position management, PnL, pricing and a range of other areas. There will also be some support of front office users as well as interesting technical projects to get your teeth into.

It's a role perfect for someone with 1-2 years experience in an engineering role who wants a career progression path and a chance to gain more responsibility within the trading space. If you've got ambitions to move info front office then this is the move for you.

Tech Skills:

• 1-3 years development experience, ideally in Python
• Experience in developing SQL database, Excel and VBA macros in a banking environment
• Some React/JavaScript exposure would be a plus
• Experience in the financial trading space
• Knowledge of equity derivatives
