IT Analytics Finance Business Analyst

Start Date: January 2023

Contract Length: 6 Months + Extension

Location: 2 days on-site per week in Zug, Switzerland

Pay: 600CHF - 700CHF per day - Negotiable, share your desired compensation :)

I am working with a leading global consultancy to find an experience Business Analyst that would be responsible for planning, coordination, and delivery of reporting and dashboards for a renown Healthcare organization. Deeply understand thorganization's financial and operational data needs n and collaborate with key stakeholders to define and standardized KPIs & Dashboards to service finance, critical business functions and operations in the most impactful way possible.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project in January 2023, however, we can accommodate a four/six-week notice period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with your skillset to be part of a project with international exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of Analytics services.
  • Facilitate the definition of scope, goals and deliverables
  • Complete "Data Quality Reviews" - serve as an internal consultant reviewing business partner data pipeline - auditing the calculation logic tracking our most critical trust related metrics
  • Translate ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements. Work with internal customers to define best output based on expressed stakeholder needs.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis; data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in data pipelines.
  • Write queries and produce data efficiently, and have in-depth knowledge of the data available in area of expertise. Pull the data needed with standard query syntax; periodically identify more advanced methods of query optimization. Convert data to make it analysis-ready.
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, visualizations etc. to support analytical and business needs.
  • Learn and understand a broad range of data resources and know when, how, and which to use and which not to use.
  • Review experiment design for implementation of statistical best practices.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, required
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a successful record of accomplishment working in cross-functional teams with both business and technical resources

  • Management experience in designing and running reports and dashboards
  • Experience owning and enhancing reoccurring reporting leveraged by C-suite leadership
  • Ability to drive results with strong financial acumen and technical/analytical capabilities
  • Critical thinking and a great eye for detail
  • Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to make complex topics easily understood
  • Deep knowledge of financial and operational functions, processes, and related data
  • 7+ years of experience in implementing DWH / BI solutions
  • 3+ years strong Power BI experiences
  • 5+ experience in writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in Snowflake is plus
