IBM Mainframe Developer - HIRING ASAP

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: Hybrid Working out of Telford or Worthing office
Rate: £300 - £400 per day
Engagement: Inside IR35 via Umbrella Company

Responsibilities

• Software development activity across the full range of development lifecycle; requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding/development, testing, implementation, and live support. This may be within new systems development projects or enhancements and fixes to existing applications.
• Provide Mainframe DB2 support for application development team and query support for customers.
• Application development in an IBM COBOL environment
• Proactive in nature, personal drive, enthusiasm, willingness to learn.
• Excellent communications skills including stakeholder management.
• Design solutions with understanding of the architecture and NFRs.
