About the Role:

  • As the Global Retail Training Manager with a beauty focus, you will play a crucial role in understanding the global retail training strategy, landscape, and audience across our direct and third-party retail channels.
  • Your role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing impactful learning paths and programs to enhance the capabilities of our retail teams.
  • Your expertise in beauty and your training skills will be instrumental in creating effective training materials and experiences.
  • Partnering with our learning agency, you will oversee the end-to-end process of training asset design, development, and deployment.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders at various levels will be essential to ensure the success of our training initiatives.
  • Additionally, you will work closely with trainers in each region and market to support localization, translation, and deployment, leveraging our digital learning resources to measure and enhance the learning experience.
  • This role reports to the Senior Global Training Manager and is based in the Group Retail Experience & Design Team.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive training curriculum and provide guidance on best practices in the retail industry.
  • Design and deliver innovative training tools, including digital content, in collaboration with our partners, with a focus on enhancing beauty-related expertise.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and provide ongoing support to regional trainers and market teams, ensuring their ability to deliver effective training in the beauty domain.
  • Stay connected with the global training community to identify insights and best practices to enhance our training programs, specifically in the context of beauty.
  • Continuously improve training tools and resources to meet the evolving needs of the organization, particularly in relation to beauty products and services.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of training principles, methodologies, and evaluation techniques, with a specialization in the beauty domain.
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably with exposure to global operations and a focus on beauty-related products or services.
  • Proficiency in utilizing learning management systems and eLearning tools, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in the context of beauty training.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for both online and face-to-face training sessions, with a keen ability to convey beauty-related concepts and techniques effectively.
