This role is hands-on, seeking a self-motivated individual with robust technical and project management expertise, capable of shaping IT implementation approaches. Expect to design strategies with clear success metrics.

How you'll help them make health happen:

  • Be the go-to leader for the project team, vendors, and business, driving management from initiation to operational transition.
  • Craft a clear project vision, ensuring meticulous documentation, and fostering team engagement.
  • Lead the development of the overall project approach, defining time frames and deliverables to meet desired outcomes.
  • Control project budget and manage expenditure within agreed spending plans.
  • Ensure the availability of required skills and competencies across project teams.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to integrate project requirements.
  • Develop the delivery strategy and oversee IT project procurement and execution.
  • Provide input into wider risk assessment and management processes.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex healthcare IT projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools.
  • Expertise in change management practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/SCRUM Master, Change Management, or Risk Management desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing third parties within the delivery lifecycle.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of digital transformation in a hospital environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage professional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
